Blog Updates Coming

Hello dear readers!

So in the interest of transparency I thought I would give a little update and discuss a few things that are being cooked up for Dragon Insight as a blog.

I am attempting to monetize the blog as a side stream of income.  No point in sugar coating it.  My wife and I are not doing so hot financially.  Now, I would rather not directly ask readers to donate, might set up a Patreon down the road or something, but that isn't my goal yet. No, I am trying to set up Adsense to get passive income.  Unfortunately I am running into a few snags.

My content is considered low value at the moment due to not really having a specific theme overall. Now I have been seeing what type of post has been interacted with the most and it seems like my posts about creativity and entertainment have been the most popular so far.  So with that said, I believe Dragon Insight will take a turn down that trail and see where it leads.

Another issue seems to be navigation of the site.  This is something I will just have to play around with and try to improve.  I might try a different theme and see if it makes the blog easier to get around in.  

Now I had hoped to keep the blog as something that covered general things that we as average people think and care about.  To that end, we will still be posting the odd side post about such things.  But for the time being, our primary focus will be on creativity and entertainment.  This will include posts about upcoming and older movies, video games, board games, stories, being creative in all of these media, and more. If there is anything in particular that you would like to see covered, such as your favorite movie or game, please feel free to comment on this post and let me know!  

I have also enabled the ability for readers to follow Dragon Insight and get updated when new content publishes. So please hit that follow button, because your continued readership means a lot to me. 

I really want to see this blog continue to grow and I would like to grow with it!

So TLDR is: 

The blog will be gradually changing to make it easier to navigate and to get Adsense enabled to create a revenue stream. Our new specific theme will be Creativity and Entertainment. Occasional side posts about every day subjects will continue to be a thing. Be sure to follow to stay up to date on the latest posts.
