Born and raised in the Southwest of the USA, Awes is a black dragon with teal eyes and teal webbing on his wings.  He enjoys food, games, and good movies. A part of the furry community since at least 2009, Awes is a relatively quiet person by nature.  Average in just about every way, this dragon just wants to make it through the day in peace.

Awes supports the LGBTQIA+ community, true equality for all, and social and justice reform.

While he is no expert on any one subject, he has a desire to learn about many things and tries to base his views in the most realistic facts.  He writes this blog to give an every day person type of perspective to things that face his community and the world at large.  

Even though this blog is generally meant to be the opinions of one flawed dragon, Awes acknowledges that not all of his opinions will, nor should be, well accepted at all times.  He encourages a healthy discourse in the comments sections of his posts in an effort to foster not only his own growth as an individual but that of others who may need it as well.
